TMNT GENDERBENT

I've seen people do it. Thought I'd give it my own go.

I always see people change the boys SO MUCH when changing them to girls and... to be honest, girls aren't a whole heck of a lot different from boys anatomically. I mean, yes of course they're different, but they're very much the same as well. Appearance-wise, I don't think the girl TMNT would look too radically different from the boy TMNT. Also, big, round, bouncy breasts seem to be a thing in girl TMNT and I SO HATE THAT. They have freaking plastrons. But I didn't want to get rid of the breasts all together so. Here. You get RAZOR SHARP PLASTRON BOOBS.

Firstly Mikel. I think she would be the biggest girly-girl. She'd like dress up and talk about boys and just be a girl. Kinda think of her as the dumb-blonde, only much more lovable. She's still got her Mikey wisdom, don't worry. She also loves to paint everybody else's nails and make flower-chains to wear. She can only ever find purple flowers.

My sister interpreted Raphine perfectly. She's Buttercup from Powerpuff Girls. Don't know who that is? Look her up.

Lea is still the leader, calm and poised. Only her nerdiness has been replaced with super fangirlism. She still loves Space Heroes, only now she had a huge crush on the Captain. Instead of trying to be like him, she's trying to impress him. He's still her idle, she just tries to be cool FOR him, not be LIKE him. Also, a bit more mellow.

Don is a very awkward girl. She's not very confident about her looks, she thinks she's too tall and lanky. She often slouches to try hiding her height. That’s I think the only difference. She’s still a geek and tech-wiz. Still has a crush on April’s counterpart, which of course is now a boy, August. Only she’s much more shy about her approach to him.

Overall, the girls are much more mellow than the boys. I’ve heard before that Asian girls are brought up to be more genteel in general. I heard that somewhere. Tumblr I think. That of course, like all things, does not mean that all girls are this way in Asian cultures, just that they’re brought up to be more like this. Because these girls were brought up by a female Splinter instead of a male one, she taught them about polite, feminine things instead of what they probably really learned as boys. That’s all.

Also, girls DO NOT fight like boys do. Raphine would probably NOT hit Mikel if she said something stupid. Girls hurt with words, that’s my experience. Especially growing up with two sisters myself I know what it’s like. We only play fight every once in a while, and it consists of scratches, tickles, and feet wars. Pretty much. Oh and licks, but I won't get into that...
